Mary Lee Settle, William Lee Miller, Eric Seaborg and A’Lelia Bundles discussed their different experiences as biographers of historic figures, family members and ancestors. Ms. Dickey of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities moderated the panel discussion. Ms. Settle was the author of I, Roger William, published by W.W. Norton and Co. Mr. Miller was the author of Lincoln’s Virtues: An Ethical Biography, published by Knopf. Mr. Seaborg was the co-author of Adventures in the Atomic Age: From Watts to Washington, published by Farr, Strauss, and Giroux. Ms. Bundles was the author of On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C. J. Walker, published by Simon and Schuster. A question and answer session followed the panel discussion. close
