Participants talked to reporters about the results of a national survey on financial planning in America and what effect the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S. had on consumer views. Among the issues addressed were the demographics of renewed interest in financial planning, consumer confidence in financial advice providers, and levels of consumer education. Following brief remarks they answered questions from the reporters. close
