Professor Kagan talked about his book, The Peloponnesian War, published by Viking. In this lecture, he explored the modern lessons that could be drawn from this conflict between the Greek city-states of Athens and Sparta in the fifth century B.C. The presentation focused on the generalship of the Athenian Pericles. After the presentation, Mr. Kagan responded to questions from the audience. He is the author of several books on ancient Greek history. close
