Following a speech by President George W. Bush on his opposition to human cloning, senators spoke to reporters about the announcement and their proposed legislation on the issue. Following brief remarks they answered questions from the reporters. Members who spoke included Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS) and Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA). Both members sponsored a bill to ban human cloning. close
