The three co-editors discussed how they used presidential papers to produce the book, Reagan, In His Own Hand: The Writings of Ronald Reagan That Reveal His Revolutionary Vision for America, a collection of his handwritten papers. They were joined by other panelists who described their own presidential research and discussed how historians' findings can reinforce or refute popular understandings of a president’s life and presidency.
