Authors who have written about the Bible in a variety of ways talked about their books. Jack Miles wrote God, A Biography, and more recently, Christ: A Crisis in the Life of God. Anita Diamant is the author of The Red Tent, a work of historical fiction about women in the Old Testament. Jonathan Kirsch most recently published The Woman Who Laughed at God: The Untold History of the Jewish People and has written biographies of King David and Moses. Mr. Karabell moderated the panel. The panelists discussed their various approaches to the Bible, and the role of women in the Bible. close
