New York University’s Public Policy Series, in partnership with the New Criterion, hosted a panel the state of world culture. Topics included the interaction and differences between Western and Eastern cultures in the context of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the U.S. The panel, moderated by Herbert London, New York University Humanities Professor, included National Review Senior Editor, David Pryce Jones, Telegraph Group Senior North American Columnist, Mark Steyn and American Enterprise Institute Senior Fellow, Robert Bork. Introductions were offered by The New Criterion Editor and Publisher, Hilton Kramer and The New Criterion Managing Editor, Roger Kimball. close
