What's So Great About America
Mr. D’Souza talked about his new book, What’s So Great About America, published by Regnery Publishing. Mr. D’Souza outlined and addressed three foreign critiques of U.S. foreign policy (European, Asian and Islamic). In responding to the Islamic critique, he argued that the answer to the question “Why do they hate us?” can be found in the Western idea that only free people can be virtuous, while many Muslim leaders see freedom as a threat to virtue. Mr. D’Souza also addressed the issue of colonialism and the current efforts to get reparations for slavery. He answered questions following his remarks. close
