Mr. Sullivan discussed his book Of Spies and Lies: A CIA Lie Detector Remembers Vietnam. John Sullivan was one of the Central Intelligence Agency’s polygraph examiners during the final four years of the war in Vietnam. His job was to evaluate the reliability of the agency’s information sources. Through anecdotes and stories, Mr. Sullivan shares his perspective on what it was like to be a CIA officer working in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Following his presentation, he answered questions from members of the audience.
