CIA veteran Linda McCarthy talked about her new, self-published book, Spies, Pop Flies, and French Fries: Stories I Told to My Favorite Visitors to the CIA Exhibit Center. Ms. McCarthy was a former curator at the CIA Exhibit Center in Langley, Virginia, giving private tours to selected visitors to the museum which was not open to the general public. In the book, the author talked about the things that she found the most interesting within the history of the CIA. The author told stories about professional baseball player Moe Berg, actress Marlene Dietrich, and television chef Julia Child, and their connections to the CIA. After the presentation, the author answered questions from members of the audience. close
