The panelists discussed the recent trip of Secretary Baker to negotiate for a new, more peaceful order in the Middle East. They addressed the post-war agenda of the Bush administration. Mr. Feuerwerger just returned from the “freedom flight” to Kuwait and gave his first-hand experiences on the state of the Kuwait government, people, and environment. Topics included the internal uprising of the Iraqi people against Saddam Hussein, arms control and proliferation, and resolution of the Arab-Israel conflict. close
