Coinciding with the re-release of his documentary, filmmaker Ken Burns talked about the lessons learned from the Civil War. He spoke briefly about the brutality of war, and emphasized his hope that the rebroadcast of his documentary would remind the American people of the severity of an attack on Iraq. He also told some stories of Civil War events that were not included in his documentary. Following his remarks, he answered questions from audience members. close
