Judge Williams, chief justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court, talked about his book Judging Lincoln, published by Southern Illinois University Press. He also showed some of the illustrations in the book of items from his collection of Lincoln memorabilia. The book is a collection of essays Williams wrote about President Lincoln over the past twenty years. Video clips were shown of a tour of his collections at his home in Hope Valley, Rhode Island, and at the Supreme Court in Providence, Rhode Island. close
