Witnesses testified about financial mismanagement and accounting practices at two failed telecommunications companies. The first panel featured two employees who had lost their retirement savings as a result of the companies' collapse. The second panel consisted of company executives who testified about financial practices at Global Crossing and Qwest Communications. During his testimony Mr. Winnick said that he would reimburse the company’s pension fund with $25 million of his own money. close
