Author Keith Bradsher, spoke about his book, High and Mighty: SUVs: The World’s Most Dangerous Vehicles and How They Got That Way, published by PublicAffairs, at the Detroit Athletic Club. In the book, Mr. Bradsher asserts that sports utility vehicles are not only threats to the environment because of their poor fuel economy, but they are difficult to control and inflict a great deal of damage on other vehicles during accidents. After the presentation he answered questions from members of the Automobile Press Association in attendance. close
