At an official signing ceremony in the East Room, President Bush signed a congressional resolution that authorized the use of force in order to ensure Iraq could not produce weapons of mass destruction. In his remarks President Bush warned of the threat that Iraq posed, but also noted that he had made no final decision about the use of force. Following his remarks he signed the resolution at a table set up for the occasion. close
