Abraham

Mr. Feiler talked about his newest book, Abraham: A Journey to the Heart of Three Faiths, published by William Morrow. In writing the book, the author explored the modern Middle East in order to better understand the region that Abraham lived in hundreds of years ago. Mr. Feiler argues that Abraham is the central religious figure in whom Judaism, Christianity, and Islam find their origins. The author also makes the claim that in order for those three religions to better understand each other’s differing viewpoints, they need to better understand Abraham. After his presentation the author answered questions from members of the audience. close
