Professor George interviewed Mr. Rockefeller about his book Memoirs, published by Random House. David Rockefeller is the grandson of philanthropist and Standard Oil founder John D. Rockefeller. For 35 years he worked for Chase Manhattan Bank and was one of the primary forces behind the building of the World Trade Center. In his book he describes what life was like for a member of an American dynasty and tells of firsthand encounters Pablo Picasso, Sigmund Freud, Henry Kissinger, oil sheiks, Latin strongmen, and others. He talked about the many subject including family’s relationship with Flagler in Miami, rebuilding the World Trade Center, and the world economy. He responded to written questions from members of the audience. close
