Officials testified about various government agencies' computer security and about their ability to protect systems from fraud, misuse and cyberterrorism. A Government Accounting Office study gave most agencies pour grades and concluded that the government as a whole had failed to implement adequate security measures. Among the topics they addressed were inadequate access controls, potential information theft, and threats posed by terrorist organizations. close
