At Politics and Prose bookstore, a panel spoke about Katharine Graham’s Washington, published by Alfred A. Knopf. The book, which was nearing completion at the time of Ms. Graham’s death, is a collection of articles and essays about Washington by well-known politicians, authors, and journalists. The discussion participants included: Robert Gottlieb, Graham’s editor at Knopf; Evelyn Small, Graham’s researcher; Ben Bradlee, former editor-in-chief at the Washington Post; Washington Post reporter Sally Quinn; and historian Michael Beschloss. The participants talked about Katharine Graham and read from the book. Following the panel, Donald Graham moderated a question and answer session. close
