The Senate agreed to S.Res. 92, relative to the death of Senator John Heinz. The Committee on the Judiciary was discharged from further consideration of S.J. Res. 16, designating April 21-27 as "National Crime Victims' Rights Week, and of S.J. Res. 70, to establish April 15, 1991, as "National Recycling Day". The latter resolution was thereupon agreed to. The Senate received the nominations of persons for the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission. The Senate received notification of the withdrawal of the nomination of John Mercanti to be Engraver of the Mint of the United States. close
