South Korean President Roh Moo-Hyun took the oath of office and delivered a speech at his Inauguration in Seoul. He called on North Korea to renounce its nuclear development program, emphasized peace and dialogue to resolve the issues of Iraq and North Korea, and suggested it’s time for the U.S.-Korean alliance to mature, and become a more “reciprocal and equitable” relationship. close
