Author William Odom talked about his book Fixing Intelligence: For a More Secure America, published by Yale University Press. In the book, the author suggested ways in which the American intelligence agencies, specifically responsible for national security, can be restructured. The book stemmed from a critique the author wrote in the late 1990s about the congressional committee that oversees these American intelligence groups. Mr. Odom argued that it is futile to fix specific and individual problems as they arise because ultimately, these same problems will continue to surface. close
