William F. Buckley Jr. presents his book, Getting It Right, from Regnery Publishing, to an audience at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Washington, D.C. Getting It Right is an historical novel about 1960s America and the modern conservative movement. During his talk, Mr. Buckley reads from a “self-interview” he wrote about the book in which characters such as Barry Goldwater, Robert Welch (founder of the John Birch Society), Ayn Rand, and Nathaniel Brandon are discussed. Mr. Buckley also commented on the recent death of former senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. close
