The committee continued to hear testimony on the cancellation of the A-12 aircraft program. Representatives from the two contractors of the project, McDonnell Douglas and General Dynamics responded to questions on their performance in attempting to fulfill the contracts concerning the A-12 aircraft, and said the two contractors have an argument that they did not default on the government contracts, and therefore may not be required to repay excess payments to the government. close
