Foreign students gave their views on the war with Iraq, focusing on the pros and cons of the war. Ms. Surdashi was born in Iraq and supported the war. Some of her relatives were killed by the Iraqi regime. Mr. Subasi was born in Turkey. He is half-Turkish and half-Kurdish and opposed to the war. He claimed that the war was intended purely to further U.S. interests, including lowering oil prices and taking the focus of the American people away from the continuing U.S. economic slump. The guests responded to audience telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail.

At the end of the segment, brief taped interviews with Representatives Johnson and Barton were shown. They gave their opinions on the whether the coalition or the U.N. should take the lead role in rebuilding Iraq. close
