Cuban President Fidel Castro delivered a speech at an International Worker’s Day rally at Havana’s Plaza of the Revolution. Rally organizers estimated that 1 million people attended.

In the first half of the speech, he reviews the history of the Cuban revolution, and provides a “state of the nation” of Cuba. In the second half, he characterizes the U.S. as a military threat to Cuba, and U.S. foreign policy as fascist and aggressive. close
