In the courtyard of the Bedford Court House, Mr. Kershaw talked about his book The Bedford Boys: One American Town’s Ultimate D-Day Sacrifice, published by Da Capo Press. The book tells the story of the 22 men from the farming community of Bedford who died on D-Day, the greatest one-day loss for one town during the war. Mr. Kershaw also talked about the relationship between Great Britain and the United States during World War II and today and answered audience members' questions.
