The panelist were: Madeleine Albright, author of Madame Secretary, from Miramax; Maxine Hong Kingston, author of The Fifth Book of Peace, from Alfred A. Knopf; and Michael Moore, author of Dude, Where’s My Country?, from Warner Books, and the moderator, Walter Isaacson, author of Benjamin Franklin: An American Life from Simon and Schuster.

Mr. Moore announced the Blackboard Bestsellers of the Year awards. The breakfast was sponsored by BlackBoard African American Bestsellers. close
