Participants at this National Convention of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee talked about immigration policy following September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S. and the impact of changes in policy on Arab immigrants. Among the issues they addressed were the detention of hundreds of Arab Americans, a recent report detailing abuses of civil rights, and the future treatment of Arab-Americans by law enforcement officials. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
