The Library of Congress hosted a panel of persons who were involved at the time reviewed the 1970s foreign policy of Presidents Nixon and Ford, for whom Henry Kissinger served as national security adviser and Secretary of State. Mr. Kissinger was joined by James Schlesinger, former Secretary of Defense, Robert Ellsworth, former Deputy Defense Secretary, Joseph Sisco, former Undersecretary of State, Robert McFarlane, former National Security Assistant and Journalist Marvin Kalb.

After their presentations the panelists answered audience members' questions. close
