Heat-Moon talks about his book, Blue Highways: A Journey Into America, published by Little Brown and Company. He described the journey he took about 20 years ago, traveling around the U.S. using only back roads, the highways marked in blue in his old atlas, telling many of the stories from the book. The book is primarily stories about the people he met along the way. After his presentation he answered audience members' questions. close
