At the annual meeting of National Conference of State Legislatures Melinda Gates, Co-Founder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, talked about educating America’s youth and about children still “left behind.” She also noted the large number of children who drop out of high school. She talked about “creating great high schools,” and described the Truman Center school in Seattle that teaches self-reliance, responsibility and creativity. close
