Author Bryan Rigg talked about his book, Hitler’s Jewish Soldiers: The Untold Story of Nazi Racial Laws and Men of Jewish Descent in the German Military, published by University Press of Kansas. In the book, Mr. Rigg explored the roles and experiences of people of Jewish or partially Jewish heritage in the German military during World War II. It was estimated up to 150,000 Germans of Jewish descent served in the war. Mr. Rigg also talked about his life, experiences, and reasons for writing the book, which included his own German-Jewish ancestry. Following his presentation, he responded to questions from the audience. close
