Nine Democratic presidential candidates participated in a debate at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. This debate was hosted by New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and was conducted in both Spanish and English. Among the topics they addressed were the war with Iraq, the state of the economy, international trade, education, and health care.
