The attorneys talked about the ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court postponing the California gubernatorial recall election. The lawsuit, filed by the ACLU, claimed that voters in counties still using the obsolete punch-card balloting system could be disenfranchised. The court ruled that the election must be postponed until all California counties had the new electronic voting machines installed.
