A panel discussion on the Stafford Stage titled “Not Who You Think She Was: Some Amazing Women In American History” was moderated by Ms. Kalpakian. One focus of the discussion was the impact on some of these women’s lives of the mixed messages they received about their place in the world. These women both played out their stereotypical roles and broke the stereotypes. After their discussion, the panelists answered questions from members of the audience.
