Mr. O’Hanlon talked about U.S. policy and operations in Iraq, as well as his recent trip to Iraq. He argued that creating a western-style liberal democracy in Iraq was a lofty goal, but that the United States should be satisfied with an Iraq that did not threaten its neighbors, persecute minorities, or develop weapons of mass destruction. Mr. O’Hanlon also discussed positive and negative developments in Iraq, and responded to audience telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail. close
