Mr. Blaemire talked about the use of voter files. A voter file is a list containing relevant information about individual voters in a given geographical area. Among the specific topics addressed were the need for voter files, identifying important information from voter files, selecting voter targets, and completing and updating voter files. Mr. Blaemire identified two goals of contacting voters: encouraging supporters who do not regularly vote to vote in the election in question; and convincing people who vote regularly to support the candidate(s) in question. Following prepared remarks, he responded to questions from the audience. close
