Telephone lines were open for viewer comments. Chuck Todd reported via remote about a controversy over comments former Governor Howard Dean made about the Iowa caucuses.

Between segments of telephone calls from viewers, John Franzen talked about his production of C-SPAN’s 25th anniversary public service announcements. Three of the PSAs were shown as well as outtakes from the PSAs and several people that he interviewed spoke by telephone: (1) Dr. Ralph Jackson of N.Y.C.; (2) Marge and Robert Laxon of Santa Cruz, Calif.; and(3) Thomas Blest of North Augusta, S.C.
