David Yepsen, Political Columnist with the Des Moines Register, interviewed Democratic Presidential Candidate Senator John Edwards of North Carolina. They discussed a number of issues, including race, campaigning, the war in Iraq, international trade, health care, education, the federal deficit, and poverty. They also talked about the senator’s reasons for running for president, his life and experiences, and his qualifications for the office.
