Ms. Moran talked about her book Blowing My Cover: My Life as a CIA Spy, published by Putnam. From 1998 to 2003, she worked as a case officer for the CIA. Ms. Moran discusses how her life as a case officer was much different than what she had come to expect based on spy movies and novels. The author wrote about her career as a series of bribes, lies, and manipulation during her time in Macedonia, Bulgaria, among other locations.
