Author Jane Dunn talked about her book, Elizabeth and Mary: Cousins, Rivals, Queens, published by Knopf. The book is a dual biography of sixteenth-century Queens Elizabeth I of England, and Mary, Queen of Scotland. In the book, the author describes the lives and governing styles of the two queens, as well as the relationship and rivalry between them. Ms. Dunn also talked about the issues and challenges facing women who hold or aspire to power. Following prepared remarks, she responded to questions from the audience. close
