Members of the Senate Housing Committee met with witnesses who testified regarding several nominations: Alphonso Jackson to be Housing and Urban Development Secretary, Linda Conlin to be a board member of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and Rhonda Keenum to be an Assistant Commerce Secretary. Senators Kit Bond (R-MO), Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), and John Cornyn (R-TX) testified in favor of confirming the appointment of Jackson. Senator Thad Cochran (R-MI) and Representative Roger Wicker (R-MI) testified in favor of confirming the appointment of Keenum. close
