Florida Governor Jeb Bush spoke at a fundraiser for President George W. Bush’s re-election campaign. The event was held at the King Plow Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Governor Bush praised President George W. Bush’s leadership. Among the other issues addressed were the war on terror, the U.S. economy, tax policy, and Medicare.
On the second event, Senator John Kerry made a campaign swing through parts of Ohio and Minnesota. Kerry spoke with steel workers in Struthers, Ohio and a crowd at Cuyahoga Community College in Highland Hills Village, Ohio. On the following day, he talked with steel workers in Cleveland, Ohio and then stopped at St. John’s Cathedral in Cleveland to receive ashes for Ash Wednesday.
