Ambassador Wolpe introduced the program saying that, in conjunction with the Africa Program of the Woodrow Wilson Center, this event is part of an international commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the Rwandan genocide. Survivors of genocides, now human rights activists, described their experiences in Germany, Bosnia and Rwanda. Ms. Lorch described covering genocide news stories. The participants answered questions from the audience of students.
