The Department of Health and Human Services' Task Force on Drug Importation hosted a public meeting focusing on drug importation issues. Members of the public made presentations to the Task Force. Topics included drug safety, Internet purchasing and prescription drug costs. Governor Jim Doyle (D-WI) talked about Wisconsin’s use of lower-priced drugs purchased from Internet sites in Canada for state health insurance.
