Some of the organizations sponsoring a March for Women’s Lives to be held the next Sunday on the National Mall in Washington unveiled their annual “Global Women’s Issues Scorecard on the Bush Administration.” The four issues graded for reality versus rhetoric were: global women’s rights and the CEDAW treaty; international family planning and the global gag rule; UNFPA and the UN Population Fund; women and the emergency plan for AIDS relief. After their presentation the speakers answered questions from members of the audience. close
