Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights R. Alexander Acosta announced that the Justice Department and the Mississippi district attorney for the 4th Judicial District are reopening the investigation of the 1955 murder of teenager Emmitt Till. Information has come to light that more of Till’s murderers may still be living in Mississippi. Mr. Acosta answered reporters' questions. close
