Panelists talked about the Brown v. Board of Education decision and the current state of public education. Educational Freedom in Urban America: Brown v. Board after Half a Century, co-edited by Casey Lartigue and David Salisbury and published by the Cato Institute, was the result of a Cato Institute conference on the topic held the previous year. Each panelist gave his views on the case and his assessment of the American school system today. Following prepared remarks, panelists responded to questions from the audience. close
